1. SMS Notifications Overview
FieldIntake, operated by Tecnico Solar LLC, provides an AI-powered answering service for service businesses. As part of our service, we send SMS (text message) notifications to our registered users (business owners and contractors) to alert them about new service orders, incoming call summaries, and account-related updates.
2. Consent and Opt-In
By creating a FieldIntake account and providing your mobile phone number during the registration process, you expressly consent to receive SMS notifications from FieldIntake. During registration, you will be presented with a separate, unchecked checkbox to opt in to SMS notifications. SMS consent is not a condition of purchase or use of our service.
By opting in, you agree to receive the following types of SMS messages from FieldIntake:
- New service order alerts — When a customer calls your business number and the AI assistant collects a service request, you will receive an SMS with the order details (customer name, phone, address, service type, urgency).
- Incoming call notifications — Alerts when a new call is received on your assigned business number.
- Account notifications — Important updates about your account, plan usage, and billing.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your call volume. You will receive one SMS per completed service order. Depending on your plan, this may range from a few messages per week to several per day. Account-related messages are sent infrequently (e.g., plan usage warnings, billing confirmations).
4. Costs and Rates
FieldIntake does not charge for SMS notifications — they are included in your subscription plan. However, standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply. Please contact your carrier for details about your messaging plan.
5. How to Opt Out (STOP)
You can opt out of SMS notifications at any time by:
- Replying STOP to any SMS message from FieldIntake.
- Going to Dashboard > Settings > Notifications and toggling off SMS notifications.
- Contacting us at info@fieldintake.com.
After opting out, you will receive a final confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS notifications from FieldIntake. You can re-enable SMS at any time through your dashboard settings.

7. Supported Carriers
SMS notifications are supported on all major US and Puerto Rico carriers including T-Mobile, AT&T, Claro, Liberty, and others. Carrier support may vary. FieldIntake is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages due to carrier issues.
8. Privacy
Your phone number and message data are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. Your number is used solely for delivering FieldIntake service notifications.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this SMS consent policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of SMS notifications after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
